Our Story

Excuseme was born from a simple idea: to bring the true taste of Bangladeshi home-style food to East Ham at a price everyone can enjoy. Inspired by the street food stalls, family kitchens, and bold flavours of Bangladesh, we set out to create a place where food feels familiar, comforting, and full of character. What started as a passion for sharing honest, flavour-packed dishes has grown into a local favourite known for our famous £2 biryani and much-loved snacks like fuchka, muri, halim, and piyaju. Every recipe at Excuseme is rooted in tradition, cooked fresh, and served with care—because for us, food is not just about eating, it’s about memories, community, and feeling at home.
